Heather Fitzenhagen has devoted much of her time in office to advocating for the restoration of the America's Everglades. Fitzenhagen has been a voice on several different platforms educating and speaking out on the issues we are facing today concerning Florida’s water crisis. She was one of the first elected officials to sign the Now Or Neverglades Declaration. She cares deeply about people who need help to make their lives better, and issues that make the community stronger and is serving in a number of areas such as the Boards of Directors for the PACE Center for Girls, the Fort Myers Women’s Community Council, and the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers. She is a charter member of the Tiger Bay Club, and member of the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red and Executive Leadership Team.
Still she is an active supporter and volunteer of the American Red Cross, Hope Hospice Celebration of Women Committee, Hollins University Alumnae Board and several others. As a parent, resident and business owner in the Fort Myers area, Fitzenhagen understands the diverse needs of our community, and has the best experience to be a part of the solution. Like us, Representative Fitzenhagen knows it’s #NowOrNeverglades.
