This is is reminiscent of Big Sugarโ€™s ruse and push for Deep Injection Wells โ€“ shooting trillions of gallons of polluted agricultural runoff 3,000 feet down into the boulder zone, then out to the Gulf and Atlantic.

โ€œThis is no different than a get-rich-quick scheme. Letโ€™s fix the problem of excess nutrients at the sources, not by flushing them temporarily.โ€
