Senator Annette Taddeo is a small business owner and a working mom from South Dade who moved to this country as a teenager, put herself through college and has lived the American Dream. An active community leader for over 30 years, Annette is proud to call South Dade home, for her family and her business. In 2017, Annette was elected Florida State Senator for District 40. Senator Taddeo has been a champion for a multi-faceted approach that keeps our water and our community safe—she has introduced legislation to ban fracking and has sought a ban on offshore drilling to protect our coastline. Tallahassee must do more to boost natural disaster preparedness and restore our precious Everglades, which why she co-sponsored the Florida Forever Fund which would finally respect the wishes of the vast majority of voters who supported Amendment 1.

Absolutely disgusted with your DeSantis endorsement. What the hell? His environmental voting record is HORRIFIC! Are you getting paid, or what? #shamenvironmentalgroup

Why would you endorse DeSantis? Who paid off the Trust to endorse him? You have lost my support! It’s people like him and Scott who have caused the greatest harm to the Everglades! Shame!

Wait… DeSantis? How is he supportive of the environment? Did you get a big check from his campaign?

Here is is LCV record. 3%. Three Percent!

Or the TC Palm Article comparing these. Gillum is clearly the right choice for the everglades.

Everglades Trust: SHAME on YOU !!!
You know full well that DeSantis has no intention of instituting fixes to our state’s critical needs. To see him fail on on all of your criteria that apparently don’t matter in the face of the last 2 criteria and know that he is himself controlled by the major polluters is sickening.
Your organization is beyond naive to think that he has ANY plan to change the status quo. Tell us, is he somehow better than Scott who has also been in a position to ‘work with’ a sugar controlled legislature? Has he proven himself to have sound ideas and science based knowledge of the dangers Florida faces?? NO HE DOES NOT!
